The iPhone 17
Apple has just announced its latest phones, the iPhone 17 series. That's three refreshed versions of existing models and the new iPhone Air, that is replacing the iPhone Plus. If camping out on release day is not your style, and you still wish to get your hands on one right away, you'll be able to pre-order the iPhone 17, 17 Pro, 17 Pro Max or iPhone 17 Air from 10pm AEST on September 12th, in advance of the September 19th release date.Aplpe’s iPhone 17 features a redesigned look with a slightly larger 6.3-inch display and thinner borders. And after years of waiting (and a fair bit of grumbling), the base iPhone 17 finally features a 120Hz refresh rate.
Inside, the new A19 chip is faster and more efficient, particularly when teamed up with Apple Intelligence. If you are upgrading from an older iPhone, you'll notice a huge increase in speed and improved gameplay courtesy of ProMotion.
Camera wise, you'll find a 48MP Fusion main camera (shooting 24MP photos by default) and also a 2x telephoto lens. The device’s ultra-wide camera also receives an upgrade to 48MP, making macro photography crisper and more impressive.
Thinking of buying the iPhone 17?, don't worry about finding the perfect case, as there will be lots of choices. Campad Electronics, a leading Australian retailer of mobile phone accessories, already has cases listed for all iPhone 17 models, so you can find something that matches your taste. This is a great opportunity to browse different designs, materials and styles to protect and personalize your new device.
